See You At The Pole 2019

The annual See You At The Pole global day of student prayer was on Wednesday, September 25th of 2019. That morning, Christian students all over the world met at their school flagpole for prayer. Locally, Pastor Will along with several other youth pastors from our city held an evening event for students called, "See You After The Pole." Here's the recap video!

Pastor Rob & Kellie's Last Service

After 15 year of youth ministry at Amazing Grace Fellowship, Pastor Rob & Kellie Gurule passed the baton to our new Youth Pastors, Joseph & Brooke Saucedo. Though they will miss working directly with the students on a weekly basis, they are so excited to see our new youth pastors take MOSAIC youth to places they only dreamed of! Pastor Rob & Kellie will remain on staff at AGF as Familiy Ministries/Associate Pastors which will include overseeing Children, Youth, and Young Adult Ministries.

Mosaic has been Pastor Rob's life's work ever since he founded the first youth ministry at AGF back in 2003 with a vision of seeing students embrace creativity, diversity and spirituality. Since that time he and his wife Kellie have impacted countless students in the community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We are grateful to Pastor Rob & Kellie for being such great leaders who faithfully remained in the trentches of youth ministry fighting for a generation. You both will be missed!

Fine Arts Convention

Fine Arts is a ministry that allows students to discover and develop their gifts. Students may present or submit entries into the divisions of Art, Communication, Drama, Exhibition, Instrumental, Vocal and Writing.

We believe the world is changing and moving to a more art-dominant culture with media being the driving force. We believe it is our job to develop Christian creatives to help shape the culture of the arts. We are doing that through Fine Arts in helping students in the Rocky Mountain discover, develop and deploy their gifts in the arts.

This year Fine Arts Convention will be held April 21-23 in Copper Mountain, Colorado. The cost per student will be $145 which includes travel, lodging, meals, registration, and one fine arts category. Additional categories are $5 each. Also, bring extra money for a lunch on the way home.  Registration packets will soon be available in the youth office.

For more info visit our Facebook Event Page.

The Establishment Of The Cadres

This week at Mosaic one of the first suggestions was put into use. The original suggestion was “assigned seating” and the purpose of that was to move people out of their comfort zones and cliques and be able to encapsulate unexplored parts of the youth group. This evolved into “cadres”, a group based, yearlong project that involves groups formed out of randomly selected members of the youth group to join together and help build up their strengths and build up weaknesses. So if you missed last week, make sure to hurry back in, because competition and the whole youth will be required for this!

Cadre: a tight-knit core of trained soldiers and devoted friends fighting together for a cause, loyally giving their lives for one another.

I Love The 80's Christmas Party!

On December 16, 2016 we had our annual themed Christmas Party. This year it was "I Love The 80's!" The night started with some great food followed by 80's Karaoke! Pastor Rob recognized and honored our adult leaders for all of their hard work throughout the year with gifts. Several students participated in the 80's outfit contest with Nacaio's "Marty McFly" costume taking the $25 Fandango gift card prize. We wrapped up the night by unwrapping presents in our gift exchange game. Fun was had by all and P. Rob reminded everone that the reason we celebrate is because Christ was born to save us from our sins. What an amazing gift!

Trunk or Treat with Grampa & Granny G!

Every year our church, Amazing Grace Fellowship, puts on a community Trunk or Treat outreach and it's always a great time! This year we had over 2000 people come through our campus for free candy, face painting, hay rides, food, family photos, and the FunZone maze which the students of Mosaic Youth manned and operated. Afterwards, Grampa and Granny G. (aka our youth pastors) hooked us up to some Sonic. Good times...

Here is a look at the night through the eyes of Grampa and Granny G. Enjoy this video!

Games This Fall!

One important part of Mosaic Youth is our game ministry... currently led by Garret and Nacaio. Every week these two wild and crazy guys have the challenge of coming up with wild and wacky games that start off our youth service with fun and laughter. Always wild, never mild, we never know what these two are going to bring to the table each week.

With the fall upon us, these game masters aren't slowing down, but are amping up their game! Garret and Nacaio are hard at work, brainstorming new challenges that are sure to keep you on your toes. Be sure to come to Mosaic each week to experience the madness!

Oh, and did we mention anything about prizes?!? Welp, they're gonna be taken to a whole nutha level as well!

See you this Thursday night!

Fresh ContentWord From the Editor

Dear reader,

I welcome you to the official Mosaic Youth media page. I am going to use this quick article to explain the newest installment of the website. You'll find that this page is divided into several other pages that will be easily accessible and satisfying to use.

This specific article is obviously in the “Word From the Editor” page and this area will contain short passages from yours truly about events in the youth and short stories that may be interesting to you.

Another section we have is “Music”. This segment will focus on specific music playlists made from Spotify by Garrett Wygle. You will find newer music there, and a song or two might actually be the perfect one for you to hear at the time.

So if you want to, anytime just scroll over to the media page of our site and just see what's happening.
